FINALLY |

I finally finished the 4 postcards I had created a week or so ago. I did go out of town for a few days and since I have been back haven't really felt up to par. Been dragging with little energy. Anyway here are the lastest 4 cards, The one with the milk and cookies I titled MILK and COOKIES. The one with the cats is titled FAMILY PORTRAIT and the cats at the house is THE IN-LAWS. The butterfly one has no title as yet. Enjoy!! |

Darcy, Good title!! Always enjoy your titles for your work. I have "Who knows what colors today Will Bring" where I can see it first thing in the morning. What a great thought to wake up to!!

Your work is so fab! I love the whimsy and color! Very interesting that you collect bricks. When we bought our house 12 years ago, there was a rather large assortment of bricks. I've now used most of them and made a patio. The house was built in the 1930s and had the same owners until we bought it. The people seemed to stop using it in the 1950s (it was a vacation home). Anyway I'm sure most of them are pretty old. They make a nice patio (quite imperfect though!) Your blog is great! -saffron

Thanks Saffron!! I have fun creating the little cards. Do your bricks have any writing on them?? I have also been making a patio with my bricks, but it is a work in progress and probably will be for many more years since I am trying to cover most of my yard with them.

About Me |

Name: Attack of the Vintage
Home:
About Me: Hi! I am a fiber artist tryig to work on my art everyday of 2007. With doing this I hope my art will evolve and I will learn many new techniques this coming year. My goal is to be able to make my living doing my fiber arts.
I also make my own earrings when I have a need of a new pair.
I am an avid brick collector and belong to International Brick Collectors Association. I try to attend at least one brick swap a year to share my bricks and to collect new ones from all over the country. I am currently working on a hugh brick walk and patio.
Gardening is another love of mine, my yard is getting rather funky in my yard decorating. I go for the unusaul and people come out my way to see what I have added each year. Last summer was green beer bottles for the flower bed edging and bowling ball towers. I have no idea what I will be adding this coming summer.
