| FINALLY DID SOMETHING |
Well, I finally got back to my sewing. I probably wouldn't have today but while cleaning out the shed I ran across a nest of yellow jackets and since I managed to escape without getting stung I didn't want to push my luck. Last year I got stung over 50 times, so far this year I haven't had a one :)
So I ended up getting all cleaned up and still had half the day to keep myself busy. So decided to tackle my many projects I had started in the sewing room. Didn't get a whole lot done, had to find things and then clean and oil my machine before sewing. Anyway, I did get to the 3 postcards I had created a few months back. I will be putting them in my etsy shop. Hopefully since I did get these done I will keep up with my fiber arts:) Since I returned from Florida a week ago I have quilted on one quilt and appliqued on an another quilt. Not much but it is a start! |

I like the dinosaur one a lot. Some part of me wonders how long it will be before the T-Rex starts munching on his friends.

Thanks! I have more of that fabric so I can make more things with it, perhaps a bookmark to go with the postcard.

About Me: Hi! I am a fiber artist tryig to work on my art everyday of 2007. With doing this I hope my art will evolve and I will learn many new techniques this coming year. My goal is to be able to make my living doing my fiber arts.
I also make my own earrings when I have a need of a new pair.
I am an avid brick collector and belong to International Brick Collectors Association. I try to attend at least one brick swap a year to share my bricks and to collect new ones from all over the country. I am currently working on a hugh brick walk and patio.
Gardening is another love of mine, my yard is getting rather funky in my yard decorating. I go for the unusaul and people come out my way to see what I have added each year. Last summer was green beer bottles for the flower bed edging and bowling ball towers. I have no idea what I will be adding this coming summer.
