MY MACHINE |
well I never did get to finish the rest of the bookmarks I have created. My machine decided to stop sewing altogether! So off to marietta to take it into get fixed, an hour away! Hopefully I will hear back from them in the next couple of days but not sure if I will have the time to pick it up this week. I can't go tonight after work cause the chimney sweep is coming. Tomorrow night after work I am meeting a friend for dinner. wednesday we have a mandatory meeting at work after I get off of work. And Thurs-Friday I will be in Detroit to stay at my brothers and hang with my dad some. I wonder what their hours are on Sat. I did happen to pick up a few more pieces of cool fabric while at the fabric store though! Also bought some gloves to help with my machine quilting since I am finding I am doing more of that on small art quilts. They help grip the fabric when free motion quilting. At least that is what they say they do, I will have to try them out. I should have lots of items ready to sew on when I do get my machine back. I miss her terribly:( |

Ooooh LOVE the bookmarks! MY hub would love the guitar one, as he is a musician. Unfortuantely, he mostly reads the newspaper and does books on tape. Cool beans! Can't wait to see more.

Thanks! I already sold that guitar one but have another all ready to quilt, just different guitar and background. I will most likely be making alot of guitar ones since they are the perfect size for the bookmarks.

Cool guitar! You've been tagged on my blog, btw, go have a look...participation not obligatory!

About Me |

Name: Attack of the Vintage

About Me: Hi! I am a fiber artist tryig to work on my art everyday of 2007. With doing this I hope my art will evolve and I will learn many new techniques this coming year. My goal is to be able to make my living doing my fiber arts.
I also make my own earrings when I have a need of a new pair.
I am an avid brick collector and belong to International Brick Collectors Association. I try to attend at least one brick swap a year to share my bricks and to collect new ones from all over the country. I am currently working on a hugh brick walk and patio.
Gardening is another love of mine, my yard is getting rather funky in my yard decorating. I go for the unusaul and people come out my way to see what I have added each year. Last summer was green beer bottles for the flower bed edging and bowling ball towers. I have no idea what I will be adding this coming summer.
